This is your chance to meet some amazing NGA (National Greyhound Association) retired racing greyhounds and learn all about them. These hounds are American bred & born. They are loved & cared for from birth into retirement.
Talk with their owners and see how one might fit into your life. Also learn about volunteer opportunities if you aren't ready to adopt but would love to spend more time with these hounds.

James River Greyhounds is a non-profit PRO-Racing adoption organization dedicated to finding responsible, caring homes for retired racing greyhounds in the following states: Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and St. Louis, Missouri. Since 1989, we have found forever homes for more than 1750 greyhounds - and counting! We are now partnered with Greyt Love Retirement (GLR) to bring even more greyhounds into the region! GLR provides the kennel to foster greyhounds while they await their forever homes.
