James River Greyhounds is a non-profit PRO-Racing adoption organization dedicated to finding responsible, caring homes for retired racing greyhounds in the following states: Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and St. Louis, Missouri. Since 1989, we have found forever homes for more than 1750 greyhounds - and counting! We are now partnered with Greyt Love Retirement (GLR) to bring even more greyhounds into the region! GLR provides the kennel to foster greyhounds while they await their forever homes.
